Conduct/manage physical inventory of general equipment (GE) and perform transactions in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system. Interface with customers to resolve issues regarding material issues, and provide guidance as to receipt, storage, and disposition of materials.
Led a group of personnel assigned to the General Equipment (GE) branch
Regularly communicate with customers and resolve inventory issues
Generate reports/documentations on inventory status
Conduct physical inventory and perform causative research when discrepancies are found
Receive/store and keep track of materials locations, quantity, and condition
Review receipt documents for accuracy
Provides status reports/metrics and participate in branch/departmental meetings as needed
Maintain accountability of materials from procurement, storage, issue, and disposal
Regularly review/update N-ERP, and perform all required transactions to maintain accountability
Work closely with customers to meet requirements (material transfer, shipping, etc.)
Comply with all OSHA directives and requirements
United States Citizenship
Valid United States Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance, an Active Secret Clearance is preferred
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Knowledge of the use of hand/power trucks
Knowledge of the US / DoD N-ERP inventory management systems preferred
