GVI, Inc., a DoD contractor industry leader, is seeking Warehouse Personnel. Applicants will perform a range of warehouse functions such as receiving, picking, packing and shipping. Applicants with current security clearances and knowledge of the US / DoD N-ERP inventory management systems preferred. This position requires the capability to load/unload/pack shipments for transport and perform the associated record keeping functions associated with warehouse and material handling.
Perform clerical and physical/warehouse tasks related to shipping and receiving goods/shipments Receiving and warehouse duties typically involve the following: Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, Note and report receiving discrepancies and damage
Route materials to prescribed storage locations
Palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
Ensure goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment Prepare and maintain records of goods received
Inventory and rearrange stored materials as required Examine stored materials and report deterioration or damage
Manually load/unload freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices Remove items from storage and prepare for shipment
U.S. Citizen Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance, an Active Secret Clearance is preferred
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs.
Knowledge of the US / DoD N-ERP inventory management systems preferred
Position is located in Panama City, FL.
Hourly rate of pay is $14.12. Employees are eligible for a Health & Welfare Benefit of $4.27 per paid hour to be used towards benefits. “VEVRAA Federal Contractor”
