As we are looking for an event manager who can organise and manage that will impact a number of audiences. The event manager is one who understands marketing and promotional techniques.

Responsibilities of an event manager:-

Plan the event from start to end according to the requirements, audiences and the target which has been given to them.

He/she should be competent and also come up with the best ideas to make that event successful and enhance that event.

Prepare budget in detail and enhance the quality of the event or adherence.

Make most out of the given budget. One should have the negotiating quality with the vendors.

There should be a leadership quality as to appoint personnel like DJs, caterers and more.

Have a quality of supervision. Supervision of the staff is very important.

Check all the aspects a day before the event and make sure about the arrangements.

Analyse the event like what goes right and what can be better and make reports.

Requirements:-

Proven experience for the event management.

One should be skilled in project management. Knowledge of management and marketing techniques is must for the candidate. Knowledge of Ms word, excel is appreciated. Communication skills should be outstanding as well as negotiating ability.

Event manager should be motivational. This job requires hard work and service orientation so applicant canít be like glory seeker.

Safety meeting, as most of the time there can be meetings which involve high security and safety inspections. So one must be spontaneous.

A proper package of event manager includes, study of the intricacies, identify the target audience, planning of logistics, cooperation, coordinating technology etc. Most importantly analysing post-event and ensuring the return on investment is needed. Proper communication skills and hard work are the key to be a good event manager. He/she has to be spontaneous in and out during the event after the pack up so that they can be called eligible for the role.
