Service Department Fabricator/Welder - up to $62,400 
 
We have an incredible opportunity for a Veteran or military spouse looking to join our service department team in our New York City location.

If you are an experienced mechanic with hydraulic, electrical, welding and fabrication background, then we may just have the ideal job for you!

We?re a full-service truck equipment distributor that has grown to become one of the trusted suppliers in the Northeast.
 
Our team specialized specialized in the sale and support of truck-chassis mounted equipment, municipal road, and facility-maintenance equipment.
 

What you?ll do?
  • You will be reporting directly to the Service Department Manager
  • Perform machine work related to hydraulic, electrical, welding and fabrication on various equipment
  • Welding and Fabrication of vehicles/equipment for various municipalities
  • MIG Welding- steel, stainless and aluminum
  • Cut and fabricate steel
  • Welding electric chassis 12v and 24v
  • Hydraulic Systems, Electrical Systems and Chassis, Plow Installations and various services on dump trucks, garbage trucks, etc.

  • SKILLS YOU?LL NEED

  • 2+years experience of MIG Welding and Fabrication on steel, stainless and aluminum
  • 2+ years experience of welding and fabrication of vehicles and equipment
  • 2+ years experience as a mechanic with hydraulic, electrical, welding and fabrication backgrounds
  • Experience with snow plow installations
  • Confidence, "can-do? attitude, and a teamwork mentality
  • Clean background and drug-free (pre-employment test required)

Your compensation and work hours...
  • $24-35 hour.
  • Paid overtime
  • Medical, dental and retirement plan
  • Work 40 hrs a week, 7 am - 3:30 pm
