Job Description As a Sales Estimator , you will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our clients sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to generate precise sales quotes for Customer Service Administrators and Area Sales Managers in NSW, VIC, and SA, or as directed by the Sales Estimating Supervisor. It will be essential for you to ensure the timely delivery of sales quotes, aiming for a turnaround within 3 working days of receiving the quote request. Heres an overview of your future role: Employment type: Full-time Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Work setup: Hybrid, Makati/Ortigas Perks: Day 1 HMO, Above-market salary, Global exposure What awaits you in this role? Create and provide accurate sales quotes for Customer Service Administrators and Area Sales Managers in NSW, VIC, and SA and/or as directed by the Sales Estimating Supervisor. Maintain timely turnaround of sales quote provision, within 3 working days of quote request receipt. Check factory drawings within 24 hours of receipt and approve for manufacture if correct. Initiate requotes if required. Provide assistance to other Sales Estimating team members as required and directed by the Sales Estimating Supervisor. Check and confirm price, raise a purchase order, and enter data to ensure invoicing for outsourced items. Provide assistance to Sales, Factory, Production, and Accounts on sales quote related data issues. Monitor and amend data entry issues. Understand all STAIRLOCK products and components associated with sales quote creation. Review Sales Estimating Email Inboxes, for incoming requests for quote information/communication. General Assistance with the Sales Estimating function in the STAIRLOCK office and related tasks as required and requested by the Sales Estimating Supervisor. Continuous improvement in collaboration with the Sales and Estimating team. Adhere to Work Health Safety Regulations, including working in a safe manner to prevent injury or incident to self and others, including the correct use of PPE. Work within Stair Lock policies and procedures. Other tasks as required. Requirements What do you need to succeed? Previous experience with Sales Estimating. Background in the residential construction industry in an estimating role (builder or supplier). Confidently able to read and interpret residential construction building plans. High level of computer literacy across Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience and training with ORACLE and NetSuite software package (ERP) is a plus but not required. Prior knowledge and training in sales estimating software (STAIRLOCK Stairbiz sales estimating qualification advantageous but not essential). Training in STAIRLOCK estimating software is provided. Effective active listening skills, negotiation skills, ability to understand roles responsibilities across the organization, and work as a group to achieve a common result. Sound analytical problem-solving skills, lateral thinker, ability to propose solutions to business constraints. Knowledge of staircase components and products would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent literacy and numeracy. Effective all-round communicator, written and verbal, ability to work autonomously, with high levels of energy and motivation. An ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. An attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Benefits Why choose us?
