Salesforce Architect

Salesforce Architect required for a 12 month Contract in Sandton that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the unique needs of the banking industry. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, banking processes, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strategic mindset to drive successful Salesforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud, tailored to banking needs.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define Salesforce requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and create a strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Integration: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other banking systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Customization & Development: Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other tools to meet specific business needs and enhance user experience.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to industry regulations, security standards, and best practices, including data protection and privacy laws relevant to the banking industry.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to ensure efficient and effective system operation.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and guide Salesforce developers and administrators, fostering a collaborative environment. Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other IT professionals to drive project success.
• Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for Salesforce solutions and provide training and support to end-users and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or Salesforce certifications preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience with Salesforce, including 3+ years in a Salesforce Architect role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Certifications: Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect) highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce platform features, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integration tools. Experience with banking applications and financial services platforms is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
