Job Title : Big Data (Multiple levels) Requirement : - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. - Technically Hands-on, prior experience with Hadoop and Azure data management services. - Understanding of the cloud computing in MS Azure. - Preferable Languages: Python - MS Azure: Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, HDInsights, PowerShell good to have - Big Data Frameworks: Spark using PySpark/Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Hive are must. - Programming Language: Python (Must have) - Unix Shell scripting knowledge is highly desirable - Database: Good knowledge of any SQL or NoSQL database - Demonstrated work experience in healthcare/ life sciences data analytics projects Experience Background : - Bring 7years of software engineering and solution development experience - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. - Excellent communication skill JD : - Be mindful of the scope of the project - Understand the clients requirements and its business liabilities. - Excellent team member. - Develop solutions in detail as per the specification. - Build data lake from multiple data sources with ingestion, data governance and auditing capabilities - Should have a mindset to challenge status-quo with out-of-box solutions. - Able to translate functional and technical requirements into detail design. - Able to implement and follow industry best practices in relevant technologies. - Good troubleshooting and application performance tuning experience. - Prepare and produce releases of software components - Work with stakeholders for regular updates, requirement understanding and design discussions (ref:hirist.com)
