Tool and Die Mechanical Design Engineer - pay is up $93K

This full time, permanent Tool and Die Mechanical Design Engineer is at an employee-owned, debt-free machined metal product job shop. The company has consistent growth and has not had a layoff since 2008. Employee tenure is ten years as the employees are valued and treated like family. Employees are not bored here as there is a lot of variety to the work a person can be doing. Employee career growth is unlimited here. Several of the members of the top management of the company started as laborers on the shopfloor.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Utilizing Solid Edge and Virtual Gibbs software
• Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fixtures, gauges, tools and dies
• Determine machine capabilities and specifications to reverse engineer product designs
• Putting together material lists
• Participating in the determination of vendors
• Participating in organizing customer information including engineering drawings

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• Three or more years of stamping die design experience or three years of draw dies design experience
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45-minutes
