In this role, you?ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, identifying prime sales opportunities, engaging prospective customers, understanding their needs and driving new business through proactive outbound and inbound campaigns. You?ll help organizations innovate, work better together, and transform how they approach solutions.

Your role

As a Business Development Representative, your main responsibility will be identifying strong sales opportunities, profiling potential clients, understanding their needs, and driving new business through targeted outbound campaigns.

In this role, you will support businesses in improving collaboration, accelerating growth, and fostering innovation. As part of the Business Development team, you?ll serve as the initial point of contact for numerous businesses, engaging proactively with them to build interest while identifying and qualifying their needs to direct them to the appropriate sales path.

You?ll have individual sales targets but will also work as part of a broader team focused on expanding the customer base across EMEA. This position is phone-based, where customer engagement will primarily occur via outbound calls.

  • Engage businesses across the EMEA region, introducing them to our cutting-edge solutions through high-energy outbound calls.
  • Qualify prospects? needs and set them on the best path for solutions success.
  • Crush individual targets while being part of a larger, supportive sales team focused on growth.
  • Become an expert on our products and services to offer tailor-made solutions that match client needs.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Consistently hit key performance metrics and keep up a strong activity level.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of high-potential accounts.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting, connect with C-level decision-makers and guide them on their solutions journey.
  • Understand pain points, identify technical requirements and align them with our cloud solutions.
  • Keep CRM data updated, manage pipelines effectively and contribute to team goals.

Who You Are

  • Education: BA/BS degree, ideally with a technical background.
  • Languages: Norwegian C2 high proficiency level and advanced English skills.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in B2B sales or business development within IT, particularly in outbound sales.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, solution-oriented, and familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus).
  • Traits: Go-getter attitude, thrives in a fast-paced environment and motivated by achieving goals.
  • Desirable: Cloud certifications

Working Conditions

Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
