The Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented junior level Accountant in our Finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This position will report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• File taxes with the BIR and ensure that tax and regulatory payments, returns and filing are up to date and compliant.
• Manage salary processing/payroll
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare reports, as required

The Profile

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or related field with CPA, note this is a must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Qualified CPA.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Team player, hardworking, and self-driven leader
• Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
