The Job

• Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare, analyze, and submit financial reports such Trial Balance, Variance Analysis, Supplemental Submission, and disclosures in compliance with IFRS.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Escalates relevant and critical issues to management in a timely manner.
• Performs any tasks and reports assigned by Finance Controller. Tax and Compliance
• Prepare and submit tax reports accurately and on-time.
• Perform controls and ensure compliance with policies and procedures and relevant legal regulations
• Provide support in internal and external audits and compliance reviews and activities

The Profile

• Bachelors degree in accountancy or finance or equivalent in relevant work experience required
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting and finance experience in Energy or similar industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required. Qualification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage priorities to meet strict deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site daily in Makati City.
