Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer | AI-Enhanced Hardware Design Platform
Compensation: $180,**,000 (Salary + Equity + Bonus)
Location: Hybrid, Bay Area (Must already be local relocation not supported)

Who Are We?
Were building the GitHub of hardware. Used by over 1.8 million engineers designing electric vehicles, drones, and AR headsets, our platform is revolutionizing electronics design. Until recently, we were profitably scaling on customer traction alone but now, we've raised our first round of funding to integrate AI and expand globally. Think: AI-assisted design tools, blazing-fast search, and a dev experience built for hardware engineers, by software engineers.

What's In It for You?
Massive Product Impact: Your code will touch workflows used by millions of engineers worldwide.

AI at the Core: Lead the development of our GenAI Copilot to supercharge design speed and intelligence.

End-to-End Ownership: Influence technical direction and build core features from backend to UI.

VC-Backed Growth: Join a fast-growing, venture-backed company with real traction and revenue.

Hybrid, Not Remote: Work onsite 3+ days/week with an ambitious team, moving fast in the Bay Area.

Top-Tier Colleagues: Work with top engineers and mentors, and help shape the next wave of hires.

What Will You Do?
Build at Scale: Work across the stack (PostgreSQL, Python/Django, JavaScript) to scale our platform and launch new features.

Lead the Charge: Make key architectural decisions and help define engineering best practices.

AI-Driven Development: Integrate AI tools to assist engineers with smart recommendations and generative design.

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with design, AI, and product to ship features users love.

Recruit Talent: Help build and mentor a stellar engineering team as we scale.

User Experience First: Optimize workflows and search to create an intuitive, elegant platform for engineers.

What Will You Need?
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with at least 2 years at a senior level.

Proven end-to-end ownership of complex systems (not just a small component).

Experience in a VC-backed startup (seed to pre-Series C, <100 employees) within the last 5 years.

CS or Engineering degree.

Hybrid or onsite experience in the last 5 years (this is not a remote-first role).

Strong backend (Python/Django, PostgreSQL) and frontend (JavaScript, HTML/CSS) skills.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tech to meet fast deadlines.

Comfortable making independent technical decisions and moving fast.

Strong communication skills and a user-first mindset.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
