    Job Description:

    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Network Administrator with expertise in advanced networking protocols, Cisco-based infrastructure, and wireless network management. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in routing, switching, and network security, with hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), BGP, OSPF, and wireless solutions. The role will involve troubleshooting, optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the network infrastructure is robust and secure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Routing & Switching: Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and associated protocols like STP, RSTP, VLAN, BGP, and OSPF.

    • Wireless Network Management: Hands-on experience with WiFi standards such as 802.11ax, 802.11ac, and managing controllers (On-prem, Cloud-managed), e.g., Cisco Meraki, Aruba Central.

    • Security Integration: Knowledge of Cisco ISE or similar identity and access control platforms, ensuring network security, creating baseline security policies, and ensuring compliance.

    • Advanced Networking Protocols: In-depth knowledge of protocols like OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and others for network optimization and performance tuning.

    • Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure): Experience with EPG, BD, Contract ACI, and configuration of Cisco ACI environments.

    • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Proficiency in troubleshooting tools like Wireshark for WiFi analysis, RF optimization, interference analysis, and spectrum management.

    • Documentation & SOPs: Ability to create and manage High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other network documentation.

    • Stakeholder Coordination: Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including creating a Plan of Action (POA) for network-related projects.

    • Network Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Use various tools to monitor and optimize network performance.


    Skills and Expertise:

    • Mandatory Skills:

      • Cisco DC/Branches Routers & Switches

      • Cisco Wireless Technologies (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Aruba)

      • Cisco SDN-Network Administration (ACI, BGP, OSPF)

    • Good to Have Skills:

      • Knowledge of AWS Infra Services

      • Cisco Meraki / Velocloud Experience

Working Conditions

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
