Job Overview: As an Email and SMS eCommerce Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns aimed at increasing customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value. Utilizing your expertise in Klaviyo, you will create highly targeted, automated workflows, segment audiences, and deliver personalized messaging to drive repeat purchases and foster brand loyalty. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Strategy Execution: Plan, create, and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on customer retention, win-back, and re-engagement. Audit the brands current flows (if any) and improve or rebuild them as necessary. Develop flows in Klaviyo, including welcome series, abandoned cart flows, post-purchase sequences, and win-back campaigns. Collaborate with the creative team to design compelling email and SMS content that aligns with brand guidelines and drives conversions. Audience Segmentation Personalization: Use Klaviyo to segment customer lists based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement levels. Implement dynamic content and personalized messaging to enhance customer experiences and improve campaign performance. Performance Analysis Optimization: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue, etc.) to identify areas for improvement. Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs to optimize campaign effectiveness. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and actionable recommendations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to align retention strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer feedback and improve retention efforts. Requirements Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, specifically within eCommerce. Demonstrable expertise in using Klaviyo, including creating flows, segments, and campaigns. Portfolio or examples of successful email and SMS campaigns youve managed. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Klaviyo, including advanced features like predictive analytics and integrations with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.). Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus. Basic understanding of data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with a passion for crafting engaging customer experiences. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Bonus Skills: Experience with other marketing automation tools (e.g., Omnisend, Mailchimp, HubSpot). Knowledge of customer retention strategies and lifecycle marketing. Familiarity with SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Postscript, Attentive) |
