Marketing Writer/Translator - Japanese

| We are looking for an enthusiastic Writer/Translator to contribute to join our company. They will be responsible for creating and translating copy and articles for on and offsite campaigns, above and below the line marketing channels, as well as our marketing sites.An effective writer must have excellent and superior writing skills. You must be comfortable in creating content and marketing collateral with the right punch lines.Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of any given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and then proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in at least two languages: English and (Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, or Thai).The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business. Responsibilities:Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and toneCross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translationProofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracyFollow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needsEdit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (ie, font and structure)Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practicesProduce well-researched content for publication online and in print with topics on: Sports, Casino, and related areas.Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content and finish projects within deadlinesUtilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization''s mission to inspire ideas and contentCommunicate and cooperate with the writing teamFollow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materialsDevelop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogsMonitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvementUse search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search resultsRequirementsProven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio or work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar roleImpeccable grasp of English and any of the following languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, or Thai, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions, especially in Sports and CasinoExcellent proofreading skillswith the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errorsAbility to work independently with little or no daily supervisionStrong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and managementAbility to work simultaneously on multiple projects with different objectivesStrict adherence to style guides and the company’s policies for publicationGood time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessaryProficiency with computers, especially office suite programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointFamiliar with SEO (keyword research) and SEM is advantageBachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience in iGaming Industry is preferrable Additional information:Employment type: Full-time |
