Help us build the future and well help you build a rewarding and purposeful career.Our global network is made up of architects, designers, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists all working towards the same goal.Join a team that brings inspirational architecture, landscapes, townscapes and places to our world, and well provide you unlimited space to grow.We have a great opportunity for an experienced ELV Design Engineerto join our Building Services group to perform design projects including analysis, evaluation, design reports, calculations, and drawings for projects that will be assigned in accordance with standards and GHD procedures.Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Design all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including but not limited to telecommunication, PAVA, AV Systems, Electronic Security Systems, Structured Cabling System including Passive and Active components design, rom conceptual design phase to construction phase. Produce necessary ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View and Lense Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, Wi-Fi Heat maps, etc. Coordinate with other disciplines during the design phase, including Architectural, Interior Designers, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, etc. Produce compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA, . Assists in the preparation and issuance of ELV Systems packages including drawings, single-line diagrams, technical design reports, schedules, and specifications. ELV Engineer will be required to coordinate with BIM modelers and carry out Revit & CAD design Prepare design drawings mark-ups, calculations, material quantity take-off (when required), reports, technical specifications, and other design-related documents relevant to the design task. Present engineering solutions for discussion during concept and schematic design stages, and prepare concept, scheme design, and detailed design reports. What you will bring to the team: At least 5 years or more of design experience in Telecom, Security, and AV; experience in Middle East projects is preferable Extensive experience in engineering and design of ELV & Security systems Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors, including high rise, commercial, residential, retail, Healthcare, Industrial, refurbishment, etc. Knowledge of ELV calculations and software capability in BIM360 and Revit Detailed knowledge of international design standards such as BICSI, TIA Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or Cebu, depending on your home base/location.Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
