Who are we looking for?We''re looking for aSenior Distribution Design Engineerto join our Energy Business Group providing support to distribution projects in achieving team and business group goals.The following are key attributes of the role but not limited to: Perform general distribution engineering tasks (design calculations, data analysis, using software to undertake engineering design) Perform engineering analysis using software tools and manual calculations to produce solutions for distribution projects Provide technical input for design proposals, feasibility studies technical reports, preparation of drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates and reports Coordinate site or field technical activities, field testing or investigations, including analytical set up and managing subcontractors Ensure the timely delivery of assigned tasks within agreed project budgets and perform Quality Assurance checks for work completed by others when delegated Act as Project Manager for routine projects, responsible for project documentation (scope of work and managing client interactions Communicate with clients about current work and future needs, provide timely updates on project progress What you will bring to the team: 5-10 years + industry experience (utility or consulting environment preferable) With QA and mentoring experience. Applies broad knowledge of a professional discipline or advanced knowledge of technical practices demonstrated in a relevant industry or consulting business Preferably with relevant knowledge and experience in Overhead Distribution Design in local utility Sound knowledge of Autodesk, AutoCAD, Microstation, Poles n Wires, etc Knowledge of Australian and/or international standards relevant to transmission and distribution design Relevant on-site credentials This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City.Applicants must have work rights in the Philippines.Please note that we are not accepting agency resumes for this position.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
