Responsibilities:
  • Process low-dollar projects end-to-end sourcing and procurement
  • Review and negotiate better contracts with new and existing suppliers (Ex. Payment terms, cost, commercial terms, etc.)
  • Review and propose standard agreements to the vendor and collaborate with the cross-functional team including but not limited to Legal, Security, and Accounts Payable as needed to address source-to-pay bottlenecks
  • Identify and recommend system or process improvements to optimize various procurement activities.
  • Answer stakeholders queries via email and Slack channels
  • Act as Category Procurement backup
  • Serve as a central buyer responsible for PO creation and revision in Coupa
  • Support other Procurement Coordinators tasks if needed.
  • Create / Revised Purchase Orders in Coupa
  • Document collection and Contract Execution via DocuSign
  • Monitor and resolve pending items and ensure timely completion
  • Support Sourcing & Procurement Teams tasks as needed
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address source-to-pay bottlenecks and resolve any issues
  • Execute sourcing strategies for key projects which requires the ability to align business internal stakeholders needs, identify supply alternatives, leverage the appropriate sourcing tools/templates, and influence cross-functional teams/advisory groups throughout the sourcing and contracting process
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and sourcing priorities for the year.
  • Creates value by developing and implementing sourcing alternatives, executing and implementing specific contracts
  • Vendor onboarding experience
  • Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in Source to procure process; has in-depth process knowledge on negotiation, risk assessment, contracting drafting a contract and red lining and requisitioning
  • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel / Google Sheets, MS Word
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with a team, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills
  • Must be amenable to working a graveyard shift
  • Experience with Coupa, DocuSign, and/or ScoutRFP a big plus

    Working Conditions

    MUST HAVE:

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
    Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
    12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
    Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
    Professional Engineer License
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
    Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
