We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Engineer [React/Typescript + one backend language (e.g., Python, Ruby or Java) for the Philippines to work in a hybrid setup for our US-based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based Metro Manila Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client requirements.
  • Work alongside product managers, designers, and fellow developers in a collaborative environment to define project specifications, objectives, and timelines.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily using Typescript and React, following best practices in software development.
  • Engage with project management tools such as Linear to track project milestones, manage tasks, and collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Participate in code reviews and embrace the opportunity for learning and personal growth, guided by more experienced team members.
  • Keep updated with the latest technology trends and software development practices to continuously improve personal skills and contribute to the teams success.
  • Occasionally visit the office for team meetings, project kick-offs, and other collaborative activities, while primarily working remotely.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of full stack engineer experience
  • Proven experience in software development, with a portfolio or examples of previous projects.
  • Strong foundation in Typescript and React, with a keen understanding of software architecture and design principles.
  • Have one Backend Language (e.g. Python / Ruby / Java) experience
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a hybrid working model.
  • A continuous learner, open to receiving feedback, and dedicated to personal and professional growth.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, enhancing collaboration between the development and design teams.
  • Experience with Python, adding versatility to your technical skill set and contributing to projects requiring a broader range of technologies.
