Salary: P80,000 to P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • 5 years Australian Civil or Structures experience
  • Must have experience using Bluebeam
  • Experience using Microsoft suite
  • Flexible on office arrangements

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Expert Estimator or similar Estimating software

What will you do?

  • Review tender documents
  • Manage quantity take-off process and prepare Bill of Quantities as required
  • Oversee project specific teams and lead complex tender bids
  • Seek best value delivery methodology to gain competitive advantage over competitors
  • Prepare and coordinate the completion of tender schedules with the Pre Contracts Coordinator
  • Provide training and support for Junior Estimators
  • Manage quantity take-off process and ensure compliance (2D and 3D)
  • Liaise with the Commercial Manager regarding Contract Risks.
  • Seek client feedback tender debrief
  • Attend monthly meetings with the Estimating Manager and Estimating Director to identify department improvements.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
