ResponsibilitiesResponsible for creating new businesses by identifying profitable opportunitiesGenerate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awarenessProactively reaching out to potential clientsSell and deliver the latest industry insights of how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (both in IaaS and PaaS environment) for public and private cloud portfolio.Develop and execute a sales plan that provides complete territory and sector specific coverageDevelop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile regional success storiesLead successful go-to-market campaigns by working closely with internal marketing specialistsServes as a primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth.Communicate confidently at senior management levelManage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch pointsHelp our customers, who have business pains from their growing data volumes and aggressive service-level expectations, to achieve quantifiable business outcomes and have an exceptional customer experience. Happy customers will be keen to have more (we call it expansions) and delighted to renew their contracts.Interact with customers business contacts, IT & business and identify opportunities using ''business language'' and active listening 60% to 70% of the time (no sales pitching)Ensure clients derive maximum value from our services.Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insightMeet sales targets and specific performance metrics, aligned with business strategiesMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status and forecasted opportunities in our Customer Connect systemContribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to othersContribute and lead in account planning, customer/market analysis, and strategy sessionsPrepare and deliver effective client presentations, including stakeholders at all levels of the organization up to C-Suite.Develop proactive relationships and collaborate with extended tech cloud teams (marketing, business development, presales, consultants, customer success team etc)Deliver high level of activities on weekly basis to create and mature qualified pipeline opportunities. Drive a volume sales planCareer Level - IC4RequirementsProven work experience as Senior Sales Manager and track record in a sales-driven organization, selling technology-related products and servicesExperience in the following will be an advantage:Software sales, including cloud service experienceSelling public and private cloud, business analytics, big data, SOAComplex solution-sellingA strong Cloud advocateAlways open to learn and constantly looking for self-developmentCreative with and an ability to succeed in a volume and value oriented (ie win large and complex deals, fast-paced environment)Confident communicator (written and oral) and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively an extended sales team and with all levels of internal and external organizationsDemonstrated ability to work independently and always motivatedDynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a businessBusiness acumen, strategic and sound decision making, analytical and organizational as well as strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationshipsProject and program management experience; knowledge and ownership of phases (prospecting, nurturing, progressing, closing, etc), plans, deliverables, scope and tasksAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligationsWorking knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiationsAbility to fulfill internal and external stakeholders requirements at any given day and timeA winning mindsetTeam player, open-minded, inquisitive, positive-beingScale and grow very quickly
