Job Description Job Summary: The bookkeeping position is the hub for nearly all the financial and business transactions needed for proper submission to the accountant for filing. Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process. Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. Monitoring financial transactions and reports. Processing accounts receivable and payable. Processing checks. Understanding ledgers. Working with an accountant when necessary. Handling monthly payroll using accounting software, where applicable. Generating reports using QuickBooks. Requirements Requirements/Skills Needed: QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification, preferred. Experience in full charge bookkeeping. Experience in using QuickBooks, specifically QuickBooks Accountant and payroll (i.e. running payroll and reconciling accounts to reports). Experience in recording payroll ad sales tax in an accounting software. Microsoft office skills. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. QuickBooks experience with both desktop and online. Attention to detail and accuracy of work. Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
