Think of yourself as someone who will be responsible with the recording and reconciliation of revenue based on Revenue Recognition Policies. Acts and assists as a point person for all audit requests; mitigates potential control failure by conducting root-cause analysis, identifying process breakdown of internal controls. Now we need your full concentration because its time to imagine what its like being a Finance Specialist.As a Finance Specialist, you will ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Manages and analyzes accrual recordings vis-a-vis revenue forecast, deferrals and other related financial reporting schedules (revenue & accounts receivable concentrated). You will monitor compliance and timely execution of month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing activities of the entities.As a Finance Specialist, you will: General AccountingPerform month end closing activities such as, but not limited to, preparation of low to medium complexity journals and flux / variance analysis, based on the financial close calendarEnsure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data for general ledger accounts handled and ensuring proper supporting documentation/calculationsPrepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation for accounts with low to medium complexity and ensure that all reconciling items are cleared timely. Ensure balances in the BS accounts reconciled are accurate with supporting schedule and with proper supporting documentsCoordinate with other finance teams (AP, AR, Procurement) and/or other departments in resolving reconciling itemsCoordinate with external banks, vendors and other relevant teams to gather required information needed to perform month end closeExecute processes and tasks in compliant with US GAAP, local GAAP and local statutoryPerform accounting and other ad hoc tasks as neededFinance Analysis & ReportingAssist in the preparation of required reports needed by management and other departmentsAssist in performing financial analysis required by management and other departmentsInternal ControlAdhere to the internal control policies and proceduresExecute internal controls for accounts handled based on existing company policiesCreate and maintain accounting standard operating procedures (SOPs) which are in accordance with company accounting policiesYear End AuditAssist in the preparation of needed reports, reconciliations and schedules needed in auditAssist in coordinating with other teams, departments, vendors and leaders to gather information required for auditProcess ImprovementProvide support in the implementation of process improvementsRequirements:Bachelors Degree in Accountancy Basic familiarity with Excel formulas and functionsKnowledge in General Accounting best practices and Financial AnalysisKnowledge in International Accounting StandardsAbout TaskUsTaskUs is a leading provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to the worlds most innovative companies, helping its clients represent, protect and grow their brands. Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
Professional Engineer License
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
Understanding and application of building, energy, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
