DESIGNATION : Side Project Manager for production equipment, Capex Projects RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the Client-side Project management and controls for production equipment (not incl full facilities scope), Control and manage the production equipment vendors coordination, move in, installation, hook-up, start up, and hand over of the production equipment (not facilities or utility systems). Execute planning, forecast and control of schedule Overall project management of assigned projects, meeting deadlines and KPI's, project execution according to procedures and best practices. Accountable for Schedule and cost on assigned projects. Communication with production equipment vendors, system contractors & all internal relevant parties, i.e. equipment engineering, facility engineering, finance, procurement, planning, projects etc, to ensure all are aligned and operating on schedule. Ensure team members do receipt and Acceptance of Miscellaneous Logistics / Material Movement Equipment required to support the Project Day to day co-ordination and communications with the 3rd party production equipment Vendors / Contractors to ensure compliance to Internal safety procedures & SIC, Permits to work, RA's, Method statements Addressing Vendor Requests Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as required Updating schedule and stakeholders in case of changes to detailed activities in the schedule Responsible for Scheduling, Tracking and Driving the Project Deliverables and Activities by interfacing with engineers who are reporting to other HOD's who are responsible and accountable for activities such as: Equipment / Facility Requirements Engineering & Detailed Design (including design & delivery reviews as required) Transport, Delivery and Move-In Installation Hook-Up Safe To Operate Certificate Training Commissioning Activities with the associated specialist equipment vendors Acceptance tests Ramp up Support Activities System Integrator to oversee and co-coordinate an integrated project schedule, that will encompass various different equipment vendor schedules and tools to be interfaced to finally operate as multiple integrated production lines. Manage Doc control and documentation handover package to Operations Manager general duties, support and reporting to management and constantly keeping updated on all machine/vendor/contractor/project issues & activities Project manager will not have a team of project engineers, and must utilize engineers assigned from other teams who are reporting to other HOD's. It is expected that project manager will drive the teams to complete their tasks to meet the project schedule, but will not be part of the technical team themselves. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (technology, science, engineering) Ideally 4-9 years" experience in industrial project management from client side Ideal with some familiarity with production equipment and utility system OTHER INFORMATION Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with all levels within the organization Ability to initiate without being asked Highly efficient personal skills communication and organization Smart interpersonal abilities Ability to write and speak fluent English, must have multicultural patience and experience,
