PIPELAYER/DRAINER FOR WATER INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS -R.A.SMITH CONTRACTING
R.A.Smith Contracting is known for its ability to construct a range of Sewer, Water, Stormwater pipelines, access chambers and pits, box culverts, pump stations, rainwater harvesting and irrigation systems, plumbing services and piling systems.We seek an experience Pipelayerwho would like a challenge. Currently, we provide a range ofclients which include: Sydney Light Rail Projects, Major road infrastructure diversions, Local Councils, and Major Builders and other Tier 1 Clients.If you have the following skills and competencies please contact us.
  • Drainage II Certificate -2 or more Years
  • Pipelaying Certificate III
  • Plan organise work
  • Carry out measurements calculations
  • Read interpret plans specifications
  • Communicate in the workplace
  • Use hand power tools
  • Operate small plant equipment
  • Work safely follow WHS policies procedures
  • Install water mains pipelines ,stormwater systems , and sewer pipelines to grade
  • Install sub-soil drainage
  • Work safely at heights
  • Enter work in confined spaces
  • Current Drivers licence
  • RMS experience
SALARY : Range $35-$40per hour (dependent upon experience)
Overtime :Yes
Job: Full time
