They have been trusted for over 35 years to care for homeschooling families as they work to safeguard their freedom and secure the future of home education.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>They are seeking to add a&nbsp;<strong>Salesforce Developer</strong>&nbsp;to their team.&nbsp;This is a direct hire or contract to hire opportunity based onsite at their Virginia HQ.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for supporting complex business solutions catered around&nbsp;Force.com, lightning components and lightning communities, Pardot and Service cloud, and various technology stacks outside of&nbsp;Salesforce.com&nbsp;to support integration, such as .NET/C#.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a hands-on role that requires significant technical experience and abilities with Salesforce and related cloud technologies and uses that knowledge and experience to influence and guide teams and clients. Qualified candidates must be strong with Apex and Visual Force development, including extensive experience developing Lightning Components and other custom UI components optimized for Lightning Experience.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify, design, and recommend&nbsp;Salesforce.com&nbsp;based solutions, integration points and related implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability and performance.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Judges the tradeoffs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project and minimizes current costs, maintenance needs, and technical debt</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Establish, participate, and maintain relationships with business units, project managers, and subject matter experts in order to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology issues, risks, and function/integration issues.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide technical expertise on projects focused on Salesforce - Service Cloud, Pardot, and the&nbsp;Force.com&nbsp;platform.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Design, develop, implement and maintain VisualForce, AppExchange,&nbsp;Force.com&nbsp;pages and integration with on premise or third-party solutions using Web Services, REST, including creation of custom objects, Apex classes, Triggers, workflows, email alerts.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support integrated applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation as it relates to&nbsp;salesforce.com&nbsp;software and&nbsp;Force.com&nbsp;platform.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons, and version control.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain documentation and change standards, following the prescribed software development life cycle.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support integrated applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct design/code reviews during major project milestones.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop specifications and appropriate designs based on loose and implied requirements.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keep abreast of new technologies and suggest their application to company systems where appropriate.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Liaise with third party software/support suppliers such as Salesforce.com.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of systems</p> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in Multi-cloud Environment (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud)</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experienced in&nbsp;Salesforce.com&nbsp;development including Lightning Communities, Apex Classes, Triggers, VisualForce pages, SOQL, Lightning components</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with technologies that work with Salesforce, Java Script, JQuery, Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with APEX Enterprise Patterns &ndash;
