Job Description
As an Accountant , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Your responsibilities include preparing journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, and assisting with the monthly closing processes. Additionally, you''ll oversee the AP/AR process, maintain essential documentation, and conduct internal audits. Your expertise will contribute to meeting processing and reporting deadlines, and you''ll assist in state and federal compliance requirements. Collaborating with the Accounting Manager, you''ll also analyze customer activity, contracts, and prepare invoices, among other essential tasks.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor''s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee AP/AR process and conduct internal audits.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
  • Organize state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Assist with the monthly close process and prepare invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager as needed.
