Job Summary:

The Revenue accountant will help support Lexmarks monthly close activities as part of Planning to Reporting team, focusing on multi-element revenue transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist monthly with the calculation and recognition of revenue related to Lexmarks Managed Print Services (MPS) business.
  • Prepare revenue allocation models to correctly calculate revenue associated to multiple revenue element arrangements under new revenue accounting standards (ASC 606).
  • Assist with the preparation of necessary monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Perform other month end close activities related to MPS revenue, as necessary
  • Assist in the performance of applicable controls related to MPS revenue.
  • Support audit requirements
  • Assist with the system testing and validations related to Lexmarks new revenue recognition software.

    • Qualified applicants must have:

  • BS Accountancy or BS Management Accounting degree and 3 years relevant working experience.
  • Intermediate GAAP knowledge, with special focus on revenue recognition and internal control principles.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP, SAP experience preferred.
  • Superior analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Focus on internal controls, systems security, data integrity and statutory requirements
  • Good communication skills.

    Working Conditions

    MUST HAVE:

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET Accredited University program is required
    Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
    12+ years’ experience in specialized discipline.
    Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities
    Professional Engineer License
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and building load simulation programs (IESVE and Carrier HAP preferred)
