| Skills : Must have : - At least 2 years of industry experience working on DevOps. - Ability to work in a startup environment with high levels of ownership & commitment - Experience working with AWS eco-system (EC2, ELBs, S3, OpsWorks, Route53 etc.) - Good knowledge on automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Salt etc.) and proponent of automation first approach. - Experience with automated deployments, monitoring & alerting for services. - Experience dealing with production issues/outages & mitigation of the same. - Experience with working on low latency & high throughput systems at scale. Bonus : - Should have good knowledge of deployments on Java stack (understand JVM tuning, GC tuning, VM sizing etc.) - Experience in deployment & maintenance of Core infra viz. NoSQL data stores (Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase etc.), Caching layer (Aerospike, Redis/Elasticache), Queueing Infra (Kafka, RMQ etc.) About the company Halodoc is an Indonesian startup aiming to transform & digitalize healthcare. Jonthan Sudharta founded it in April 2016. It raised USD 13 Million in series-A round in September 2016. At Halodoc we deeply believe in the power of tech to empower people. We belive it will be the magic that will have a huge positive impact in everyday lives of Indonesians. Over the longer term we want to digitise the entire health care space in Indonesia. But to start with we have identified two problems to work on in short term: 1. Safe, fast, easy ordering of medicine 24 X 7. 2. 24 X 7 availibility of trusted doctors for teleconsultation (via Video call or chat). We have already onboarded hundreds of Apotiks (as Pharmacies are called in Indonesia) & thousands of doctors on our platform. Longer term goal includes seamless integration of health insurance into digital space and creation of a "digital health passport" for every Indonesian. About the India team India team is located in MG Road, Bangalore. It started in Nov 2016 & it has people from engineering, product & design. Currently we have about 10 people working out of this facility. Halodoc Engineering We are looking for engineers who can contribute in every step of the evolution of products from its inception to its launch. We have a very "flat-ish" hierarchy which enables all engineers to have meanigful impact on the shipping product. Millions of people will be using our platform on a daily basis, so we need engineers who can think of solutions that work well at scale. Finally, we want smart & curious engineers who know when to work hard & how to have fun. FAQs : 1. How is the compensation structure : We pay well because we recognise the value a great engineers brings to the table. Apart from an above average salary all engineers receive ESOPs too - this way engineer benifits when the company grows. 2. What is the interview process : - We have 3 or 4 rounds of interviews. Intial rounds may be telephonic ir via video call. - Expect a write a lot of code/scripts & solve technical problems. - Expect to answer deep & interesting technical questions. 3. Are you hiring in any other city in India : - No, only Bangalore for now. 4. Will I be required to travel to Indonesia : Unlikely.
