As the lead Backend Engineer at, you will have a rare opportunity to shape our backend systems, infrastructure, development and deployment practices while evangelising a strong engineering culture across all teams.

Your work will have a direct impact on the User Experience of all the players across the world and the internal systems. - Play a lead role working on the backend services and infrastructure that powers us - Build platforms, services, and APIs that are used by other products - Collaborate with our cross-functional team including product managers, frontend & game engineers to understand their needs - Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineering team members Superpowers youll need to be a success in this role? - 3-10 years of experience architecting and maintaining backend systems - Strong programming skills in Go - 3 years of experience with SQL databases (we use Spanner & Mysql) and other data stores like Redis - Experience working with Protobufs, gRPC & HTTP/2 - Understanding of modern software engineering practices in areas like CI/CD, test automation, microservices, distributed systems, and data management - Strong proficiency building services on GCP/AWS.
