We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to strengthen our Online Platforms team in Bangalore, India. - We are working on an ambitious product which will have a huge impact both to our customers and internally, and looking for a bright, talented engineer who is excited about the potential which will solve real time problems. - The main programming language in our team is Go, but we also use Python extensively. We believe in choosing the right tech stack for the job. - We expect you to be an experienced coder and technical designer, with a proven track record of designing, building, delivering and scalable multi-server, distributed systems. A passion for delivering good products is essential. Location : Bangalore Education : BE/BTech/MCA Experience : 4 to 8 Years Salary: 30,00,000 to 40,00,000 L.p.a We are specifically looking for : - 4 years of experience in any modern programming language. Go or Python would be ideal. However, great candidates who are proficient in other languages and frameworks should be able to pick these up quickly. - A deep understanding of how the Web works, from client requests to server-side handling to front-end rendering. - Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) - Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, distributed environment is crucial. Preferably you also have : - Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., goroutines, Pythons asyncio). - Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service, preferably AWS. - Experience with designing and implementing APIs for a service-driven architecture (ref:hirist.com)
