Regional Sales Manager Johannesburg (Retail/Hardware) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales operations in the Johannesburg region within the retail and hardware sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets. This role will involve a blend of strategic oversight, hands-on team leadership, and the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with retail and hardware businesses. Key Responsibilities: ? Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the retail and hardware sectors in Johannesburg. Drive revenue growth and ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. ? Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and improve sales performance. ? Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and customers in the region. ? Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and identify new growth opportunities. ? Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management, ensuring that key metrics are being met and exceeded. ? Training & Development: Identify training needs for the team and provide guidance to improve their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques. ? Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on all product offerings, ensuring that the team is well-versed in the products we sell and able to effectively demonstrate their value to customers. ? Operational Support: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations, timely product delivery, and high-quality customer service. Qualifications: ? Experience: Proven track record of at least 5+ years in sales management, preferably within the retail and hardware sectors. ? Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a sales team effectively. ? Education: A relevant sales or business degree/diploma. Industry-specific certifications or training will be an advantage. ? Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and hardware market dynamics in Johannesburg. ? Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales-related tools. ? Travel: Willingness to travel within the Johannesburg region as required. ? Valid Driver's License: Essential. Benefits: ?
