Job Description Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (WordPress + React) Location: Ahmedabad Experience Required: 5+ Years Joining Job Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Hybrid About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in WordPress development, especially with the Gutenberg editor, React, and front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS. experience working with large SEO sites with building custom features, enhancing performance, and contributing to modern workflows. confident in independently managing technical delivery. Key Responsibilities: Architect and develop custom Gutenberg blocks (static and dynamic) using React. Build, test, and maintain scalable PHP code within the WordPress ecosystem. Implement advanced React patterns (hooks, context API, component architecture). Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins as per project needs. Ensure websites are responsive, performant, and accessible across devices. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in meetings, requirement discussions, and status updates. Collaborate with team members and stockholders. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development. Expert in Gutenberg block creation using React. Strong proficiency in React, including hooks, state management, and reusable components. Advanced knowledge of PHP and familiarity with PHPUnit testing. Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Understanding of WordPress core, database architecture, and REST API. Familiarity with modern dev tools: Git, CLI tools, build processes, and deployment workflows. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work independently and handle client communications. Good to Have: Experience in performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility best practices. Knowledge of MySQL and database design for scalable WordPress solutions. Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility. Awareness of web security standards and ability to implement security best practices. Company LendingTree is US largest online lending marketplace.
