Job Description

As an SAP ABAP HANA Consultant at Capgemini, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing SAP ERP systems using ABAP programming and HANA technology. Your role will involve customizing SAP applications to meet business requirements and ensuring efficient data processing and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP functional consultants to understand and finalize detailed requirements.
• ABAP Development: Design, code, test, debug, and implement SAP modules using ABAP programming language.
• HANA Utilization: Develop data models, optimize SQL queries, and ensure efficient data processing using SAP HANA.
• System Integration: Integrate SAP modules with other systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization techniques for both ABAP programs and HANA models.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all developments and modifications.
• Collaboration: Work with other SAP professionals to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to SAP end-users, ensuring they understand how to use the new or updated applications.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP updates and industry trends to ensure developed applications are compatible with evolving technologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 6 to 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP HANA modeling and development 1 2.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language.
• Experience in S4 HANA and CDS views
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA, including data modeling and SQL optimization.
• Experience with SAP modules such as Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Material Management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver
• SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA
