Job Title: Costing and Design Specialist ? Interior Design

Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, furnishings, and labor based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints while achieving design goals.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers to understand design intent and translate concepts into feasible plans.
• Market Research: Conduct research on current trends, pricing, and new materials to inform design choices and cost evaluations.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed project documentation, including scope of work, specifications, and change orders.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and contractors to negotiate costs, secure materials, and ensure timely delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Review completed work to ensure alignment with design specifications and budgetary constraints, making adjustments as necessary.
• Client Communication: Present cost estimates and design proposals to clients clearly and persuasively, addressing any questions or concerns.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Software: Strong knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and costing tools (e.g., Excel, project management software).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze designs and provide accurate budget assessments.

Qualifications:
