• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production team.
• Train and mentor production staff, fostering team development and encouraging best practices.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation; prepare reports for management review.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management principles within the heavy engineering sector.
• Proficient in using production planning software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a workforce.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy engineering.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is desirable.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols is essential.
