Senior PHP Developer - Work from Home / Dayshift

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will:

• Lead the development and delivery of interesting and complex PHP projects.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performing web applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure security, stability, and performance in all PHP applications.
• Provide key insights and recommendations on technology direction.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex backend and full-stack issues.
• Optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated on PHP technologies and integrate new tools as needed.
• Define and uphold best coding practices and development standards.
• Guide project planning, lead technical discussions, and ensure timely delivery.
• Work on integrations between WordPress websites and email marketing platforms.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Deep expertise in PHP and frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React.
• Strong experience with MySQL database management and performance tuning.
• Practical knowledge of integrating email marketing platforms into WordPress websites.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture.
• Expertise in implementing security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience building APIs and working in a microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to enforce coding standards and lead code reviews.
• Strong project management and Agile experience.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
