Job Description Shift Timing - 2 PM to 11 PM and 5 Days Work from office. What does a successful Application Support- Tech Lead do? As an experienced member of our Integrated Teller data center team, you will be responsible for effective management of activities like incident management, execution and validation of changes, supporting client systems, patching, validation and deployment of releases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation and continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting windows servers and applications, scripting, Dynatrace, Ansible, YAML, Harness, Splunk and ASM. What you will do: Deep knowledge of windows 2012,2019 based servers, IIS, IBM AIX servers. Provide technical support resolving issues related to Windows and AIX servers for Data Center clients. Responding to and resolving system outages and incidents. Knowledge on scripting and SQL databases Deploying releases, configuring, and maintaining Windows operating system Managing regular system patches, updates and security configurations Monitoring system performance and resource utilizations. Having exposure to tools like Splunk, Moogsoft and Dynatrace. Managing user accounts, groups, and permissions. Ensure secure access control and authentication mechanisms. Tuning and analyze system parameters to optimize performance and identify bottlenecks. Understanding Networking concepts and configuration in Windows environments Implementing security policies and procedures Proficiency in writing shell scripts to automate day-to-day routine tasks and system maintenance. Experience with implementing system backups, recovery and DR planning. Troubleshoot infrastructure, application issues and work with the development team and SMEs to resolve issues faster. Create, track, drive problem and defects task to closure. Identify possible points of failure in the infrastructure/applications and improve/resolve the identified vulnerability. Troubleshoot application-related support requests and escalate as needed. Using shell scripting and tools like ansible for configuration management. Documents problems and corrective procedures. Ability to recommend and implement process improvements. Exposure to ticketing tools like Service Now Confluence Knowledge articles/documentations What you will need to have: Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field Overall, 8-12 years of experience. Experience working with Windows, AIX,Ansible and backup technologies. Experience working on monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Moogsoft. Installing releases, configuring, and maintaining AIX operating system Experience with Modern scripting language like Python Experience with Jenkins and Harness for CI/CD pipeline creation and automation. Documents problems and corrective procedures. Ability to recommend and implement process improvements. Having exposure to Python scripting would be added benefit for automation. Flexible to work in shift or weekend on business demand.
