JOB OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. They will have a strong background in manufacturing operations combined with extensive experience in implementing and managing systems and driving digital transformation initiatives. This role will be pivotal in optimizing our manufacturing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring successful digital integration across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing digital maturity to the organization.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL: IT department, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, quality assurance, senior management, and end-users

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL: Consulting firm, SAP partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

-Bachelor's degree

-Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, ERP certification) is a plus.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

-Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.

-Proven experience in implementing and managing ERP systems, preferably SAP / S4 HANA (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) within a manufacturing context.

-Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing companies is a plus.

-Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives and driving process improvements.

-Previous experience working in a senior management or leadership role.

Project Management:

• Oversee the entire digital transformation project lifecycle, from planning and design to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure adherence to project milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

Implementation Oversight:

• Coordinate with the consulting firm to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Review and approve project deliverables, including design documents, configurations, and customizations.
• Conduct regular status meetings and address any issues or risks promptly.
• Ensure project documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that the implementation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality checks and audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the system.
• Implement best practices for data migration and integration.

Digital Transformation:

• Lead the implementation, customization, and management of systems within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing systems and processes.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of new systems.
• Develop and execute digital transformation strategies to enhance manufacturing operations and drive process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for automation, data analytics, and other digital technologies to optimize production, quality control, and supply chain management.

Process Optimization:

• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize digital tools to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

Data Management and Analytics:

• Develop and maintain robust data management practices.
• Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives.

Change Management:

• Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and address concerns.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
