Job Description Job Title: Planning Engineer HVAC Department: Planning & Design Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: Head Office (Pune) Position Type: New Position Reporting To: Senior Manager Planning & Design Role Summary: The Planning Engineer will play a key role in aligning project schedules, coordinating design deliverables, and ensuring smooth project execution for HVAC systems. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of HVAC planning principles, design fundamentals, and coordination methodologies essential to successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and update bar charts and project schedules as per client requirements. Perform basic HVAC system design and heat load calculations. Calculate ventilation and duct sizing. Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on system requirements. Quantify materials and equipment from HVAC drawings for planning and costing. Support HVAC billing processes through BOQ and site measurement. Assist in project cost planning and perform basic rate analysis. Apply knowledge of HVAC codes and norms during planning and execution. Coordinate with execution teams for project planning and progress tracking. Work with basic electrical calculation knowledge related to HVAC systems. Utilize ERP systems for planning-related documentation and tracking. Maintain organized planning and project documentation. Required Qualifications: Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2-3 years in HVAC Planning & Design OR HVAC Site Engineer Certifications (Preferred): HVAC design or planning-related professional courses Key Skills & Competencies: Basic HVAC system knowledge and design principles Proficiency in heat load and duct sizing calculations Familiarity with HVAC norms and standards Working knowledge of ERP systems Basic understanding of electrical aspects in HVAC Strong organisational and project planning skills Attention to detail and analytical thinking Job Classification Industry: Engineering & Construction Functional Area / Department: Construction & Site Engineering Role Category: Construction Engineering Role: Billing / Planning Engineer Employement Type: Full time Contact Details: Company: Amrith Location(s): Pune .. |
