Delivery Driver - Inventory Specialist

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Inventory Specialist to help with our transportation and inventory of mechanical supplies from job to job. As a COR certified Mechanical contractor, safety is our top priority. With full comprehensive benefits and above industry standard wages. The role involves coordinating shipment and receipt of goods, tools, parts, and equipment, as well as supporting shop operations through effective inventory and materials handling. The ideal candidate has experience in a mechanical or industrial environment and values organization, safety and teamwork. Are you ready to build something bigger than yourself?
What you'll do? Shipping Duties • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation • Load tools/materials deliveries • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups (when needed) • Ensure all shipments meet company and customer requirements Receiving Duties • Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage • Unload tools/materials deliveries • Record and enter received materials into inventory systems Inventory Management • Organize, stock, and maintain parts, tools, and materials • Monitor and manage inventory levels to assure optimal supply • Notify supervisors of low stock or discrepancies General Shop Support • Track, receive, and organize materials and equipment • Keep the shipping/receiving area clean and organized • Comply with all health and safety regulations • Perform regular audits and maintain inventory accuracy • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to delivery schedules

Qualifications and Skills • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials • Experience with delivery materials • Strong time-management skills • Excellent customer service attitude • Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations • Basic computer skills (email, inventory software, shipping tools) • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Knowledge of mechanical parts (would be an asset, but not required)
