We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Component Engineer to join the Product Engineering Division of a globally recognized automotive manufacturer in Kariega.   As a key player in the Body/Electrical/Trim/Styling Department , you will: Drive the release and validation of electrical components for high-volume vehicle production.

Resolve complex design-related challenges across various local platforms. Coordinate testing activities and manage component/system releases locally and at source. Analyze and optimize component and system costs, including initiating cost-saving projects (PKOs). Manage new and modified components/projects, ensuring alignment with engineering and production standards.

Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) system with accuracy and consistency. Support development processes with root cause analysis and implementation of preventative/corrective methods.     Minimum Requirements: National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering . Minimum 5 years? experience in automotive component design and development for volume production.

Strong grasp of engineering design principles and problem-solving methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CAD tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects, and lead cross-functional teams.
