Job Description Greetings from Newt Global!! Job Title: Senior Java  developer  Experience: 4+ years  Location: Chennai  Work location: Chennai (5 days WFO)  Domain: Product development  Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex Java applications using industry best practices. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment. Ensure the quality and performance of Java applications through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Stay abreast of the latest Java technologies and industry best practices. Contribute to the definition and improvement of development processes and methodologies. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers.

Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience in Java development. Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs). Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and design skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
