Job Purpose:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior System Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to grow in systems engineering and gain hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of system hardware and software.

? Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers, networks, and operating systems.

? Support senior engineers in managing Windows/Linux environments.

? Perform routine system backups and restorations.

? Help implement security measures and ensure systems are up to date with patches and updates.

? Respond to technical support requests and provide level 1?2 troubleshooting.

? Document technical processes, system changes, and configurations.

? Participate in the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades.

? Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

? 0?2 years of experience in a systems or IT support role (internship or project work acceptable).

? Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).

? Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

? Exposure to system monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Skills & Competencies

? Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

? Good communication and teamwork abilities.

? Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

? Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

? Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals are advantageous.
