Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ETL Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions for data integration and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ETL concepts, automation tools, and hands-on scripting skills to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and high-quality delivery across data pipelines and data warehouse systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated ETL test scripts and frameworks.

• Perform data validation, data integrity checks, and regression testing across ETL layers.

• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand ETL workflows and transformation logic.

• Develop reusable test components using tools like Selenium, Python, or custom ETL testing frameworks.

• Execute automated test cases for large datasets and generate test reports.

• Identify and log defects, follow through with resolution and verification.

• Work with CI/CD tools to integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.

• Analyze test results and maintain test documentation and scripts.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in ETL testing with automation focus.

• Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Python, Pytest, or similar frameworks.

• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.

• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data models, and pipelines.

• Knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Exposure to big data tools (Hive, Spark, Hadoop).

• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestNG, HP ALM).

• Experience with API testing and integration automation.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
