We are looking for friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at a variety of healthcare facilities in Red Deer and surrounding areas. This includes hospitals, private clinics, long-term care facilities, and more.

Our Healthcare managers work with our employees to find a position and worksite that works well for their lifestyles. This position will be Saturdays and Sundays, Hours are 2**0. Healthcare Security can be a physically and emotionally demanding job. Security Professionals are responsible for providing support, empathy, customer service, and public safety to not only healthcare staff, but also visitors, clients, and patients.

The dynamic environments that our Security Professionals work in can be both enjoyable and exciting, but also stressful. Our industry-leading Healthcare managers provide 24-hour support for our employees, with an emphasis on proactively minimizing risks and responding to incidents with real-time guidance. DUTIES: • Monitor patients to ensure safety and report any changes to security and/or nursing staff • Log all incidents reported by hospital staff, physicians, patients or visitors • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the public • Conduct foot patrols to prevent unauthorized entry and politely direct disruptive individuals to leave the premises • Enforce rules and policies and control access to the facility • Write clear and comprehensive reports including daily activity reports and incident reports • Utilize two way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license (a valid security license is required) • Valid Standard First Aid Level C or willingness to become certified • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor and deportment • Ability to solve problems, make decisions and respond to emergencies under pressure • Discretion when handling confidential and private information • Physical ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time • High school diploma or equivalent and of legal age • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Work directly with a senior cybersecurity specialist to support day-to-day security operations and projects
Create and update critical documentation like policies, procedures, and incident playbooks
Help roll out monthly security awareness training and phishing simulations across the organization
Learn and support monitoring of key security platforms including SIEM and EDR tools
Analyze alerts, assist with threat triage, and escalate risks to the appropriate teams
Participate in incident response-note-taking, evidence collection, and investigation summaries
