Commercial Litigation Associate

Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. They seek an associate with 2-3 years of litigation experience to join the Firm's Commercial Litigation practice group in Chicago. (Hybrid)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills, as well as a track record of academic and professional excellence.
• Assume significant responsibility in the management of your matters, and to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Bar membership, active and in good standing, in the jurisdiction (Illinois) where you are practicing, is also required.
• To be considered, you must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.

Salary range is $235,000 - $360,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Plus, a full range of benefits for you and your eligible dependents.
