Junior AI Specialist
Job DescriptionPosition Summary and Scope We are seeking a motivated and innovative Data Scientist with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team in Delhi/NCR. The ideal candidate will hold a B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or MCA degree and possess strong Python programming skills. This role is central to our efforts in leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive business value. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of AI/ML models, ensuring high standards of code quality. Areas of Responsibilities 1. AI/ML Development & Deployment: a. Design, develop, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to address business problems. b. Deploy these models into production environments, ensuring reliability and performance using appropriate frameworks. c. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, and domain experts to define problem statements and deliver AI-powered solutions. d. Process and analyze large datasets, both structured and unstructured, to extract meaningful insights and prepare data for modeling. 2. Code Quality & Best Practices: a. Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and production-ready Python code. b. Adhere to software development best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, and testing methodologies. c. Ensure reproducibility and maintainability of all analytical work and model development processes. 3. Research & Innovation: a. Conduct research and experiment with novel algorithms and technologies to enhance existing solutions and develop new capabilities. b. Translate research findings into actionable development plans and contribute to a culture of innovation within the team. c. Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities. Qualification and Experience - Qualification: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/ Master of Technology (M.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from a reputable institution. - Experience: 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role or a similar position involving AI/ML model development and deployment. Key Skills and Core Competencies 1. Functional Competencies: a. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into data science problems. b. Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis (specifically differential statistics). c. Good communication and collaboration skills. d. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. 2. Technical Competencies: a. Proficiency in Machine Learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, ensemble methods). b. Good understanding and practical experience in Deep Learning frameworks and architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers). c. Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and libraries. d. Experience with Computer Vision (CV) concepts and tools. e. Strong knowledge of Differential Statistics and its application. f. Experience in API Development for model deployment (e.g., Flask, FastAPI). Key Tools and Platforms: - Programming Language: Expert proficiency in Python and its associated data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Version Control: Proficient in using Git for code management and collaboration. - Data Visualization: Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau for creating insightful dashboards and reports. - Spreadsheet Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
