Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic German Concierge Specialist to join the Sales Support Team of a thriving tour operator business. This role is pivotal in delivering superior client experiences by acting as the primary point of contact for consultants and international clients. You will manage reservations, coordinate logistics, handle special requests, and provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure seamless client journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for international clients, especially German-speaking clientele, interested in booking tailor-made holidays and safaris.

• Manage hotel, lodge, and logistical reservations based on consultant requirements.

• Distribute travel requests efficiently to agents and support Sales Consultants with administrative duties.

• Handle post-confirmation aspects of bookings and warm up enquiries before handing over to Senior Consultants.

• Provide first-line support for sales quotes and assist Senior Sales Consultants.

• Collaborate with Sales Managers to resolve client travel issues promptly.

• Maintain regular communication with external suppliers via telephone and email to resolve booking-related matters.

• Coordinate with the rates team to address rates-related issues and communicate effectively with consultants.

• Log and track all tickets related to rates and products.

• Ensure a turnaround time of 24 hours for Sales Consultant requests.

• Keep the Concierge dashboard updated and provide regular reporting to Sales Managers.

• Perform other customer service and office duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate/Matric.

• Minimum 2 years? experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role within a Tour Operator environment.

• Fluent in spoken and written German.

• Based in Cape Town.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Willingness and drive to learn and adapt.

Desirable:

• Degree or Diploma in Tourism or related field (advantageous but not essential).
