Job Description

Job SummaryAzure Network Engineer will assess, design and implement relevant changes in the Azure networking layer to ensure proper connectivity is established between Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-On-prem service. Proper network design will be mandatory to ensure proper virtual environment setup with respective accesses established for desktops and applications.ResponsibilitySupport implementation and transformation programs for complex enterprise scale solutionsDesign and implement Azure infrastructure to support AVD workloadsEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT strategiesDesign and implement AVD infrastructure on Azure, including virtual machines, networks, and storageConfigure and optimize AVD settings for optimal performance and user experienceEnsure seamless integration with existing IT systems and toolsReview the available network topologies and architectures and propose changes or updates with regards to project scopeEnsure Azure infrastructure and AVD workloads meet security and compliance requirementsImplement and maintain Azure security policies, access controls, and monitoringCollaborate with security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security policiesProvide technical delivery support to the Virtual Desktop engineers and architects, with regards to ensuring networking layer is configured as per Customers requirements, security and compliance regulations as well as Capgeminis best practices and market standardsImplement relevant network changes to ensure virtual desktops and applications are reachable and available with proper performance and user experience achievedDemonstrate technical thought leadership around network connection between cloud and on-premPartner with and provide guidance to customers network and infrastructure teamEducation/Experience/Training:8+ years of experience in cloud computing and IT infrastructure.Minimum 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.Expertise in designing and implementing Azure architecture and solution design artifacts.Strong knowledge of Azure networking, storage, IAM, and virtual machines.Experience with Azure Landing Zone design and implementation.An experience in designing and deploying cloud-based networking or hybrid network solutionsNetwork Certifications and security awareness will be advantageousAZ-104 certification preferredSpecialized Knowledge/Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6Experience in managing LAN and WAN,Azure Solution Deployment - Networking (VNET, NSG, Hub and Spoke, Express Route,VPN)Azure Solution Deployment - Services (Load Balancers, Highly available Virtual Network Appliances - NetscalerBluecoat NSG)Azure Solution Deployment - Security (NSG, Firewalls)Experience in configuration of switches, routers, VPN, firewalls, high availability,Experience in designing or transformation of network environments,Knowledge of network monitoring tools,Strong analysis and problem-solving capabilities.Fluent English spoken and written
